Royal Dornoch New Clubhouse
Metalwork UK have recently completed specialist structural steelwork at the new Royal Dornoch Golf Club. The scope of works comprised the draughting, fabrication, and installation of support steelwork for two stair cores, along with the primary stair structure to the building's central atrium stair.
Working in coordination with the project design team, our work package included the installation of structural steel to support in-situ concrete stair flights and balustrade. Particular attention was given to achieving tight tolerances and clean alignment throughout the stair cores to ensure seamless integration with follow-on trades. The atrium stair steel presented a structure for a key architectural feature within the building, requiring both structural integrity and visual precision. Our team delivered a robust steel framework designed to accommodate the necessary geometry while maintaining the architect's aesthetic intent of the design.
All works were carried out in line with project programme requirements, with a strong focus on safety, quality, and efficient site coordination. This project highlights Metalwork UK's capability in delivering bespoke structural steel solutions for high-specification commercial environments.
