Rothera Research Station
Metalwork UK were pleased to work on the new Discovery building at the Rothera Research Station. Two stairs, mezzanine flooring and handrails were required in the internal workshop and storage areas. Externally there was a main entrance platform and overhead balcony balustrades. As well as various ancillary metalwork. All items had to be carefully ordered and quarantined before shipping out to antarctica in time for the planned building season.
