Erection and Site Work

We recognise that regardless of our pre-construction performance, it is our site activities which are the most visible and expectations are the highest.

Our careful planning and programming of a project from the earliest possible stage by our experienced contracts management team alongside our client ensures each element of the project is carefully coordinated and safe.

At an early stage safe method of erection is developed into our Method Statement, Risk Assessment and Crane Lift Plans. All erectors are fully briefed and once  on site, safety is further enhanced and reinforced with regular toolbox talks by our own SSSTS trained site supervisors. All our site operatives are qualified to CSCS and CPCS.

Our experienced and fully trained site erection squads work hand in hand with our contract teams to ensure that the structures are erected on time and most importantly in a safe manner. Each squad carries skilled fabricators in addition to steel erectors so that any modification or addition to the steelwork can be carried out during the same visit, avoiding the need for return visit, and eliminating the risk of delay to the project.

Safety is paramount to all operations, and we carry out regular site safety inspections, as well as unarranged site inspections by our health and safety advisors.

When additional works are required, our highly skilled team provides a quick and efficient solution for even the most challenging situations.
